Journaling Sessions

The journaling workshops I run either one to one or as a group are really relaxed and welcoming. You don’t need to be a writer at all—it’s more about giving yourself space to pause, reflect, and just get your thoughts out on paper. I guide you with simple prompts, and we take our time with it. Some people come to manage stress, others to gain clarity, get creative with projects and ideas or just reconnect with themselves.

It’s a really gentle and supportive space, and there’s no pressure to share unless you want to. A lot of people say they leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to what’s going on inside. It’s kind of like self-care through writing.

 FAQs

  • Journaling sessions can be catered to anyone’s needs. I’ve worked with already established groups, for example book clubs, men’s sheds etc or sometimes a workshop where people sign up and only know each other after taking part. I also work on a one to one basis when an individual client wants to gain clarity or work on a particular problem or project.

  • Not at all, it’s whatever you feel comfortable doing. Ideally if you do decide to share with the group or with me, it can be beneficial by encouraging connection and a sense of achievement.

  • Journaling is not about perfection. It’s about emptying our busy brains of reoccuring thoughts and worries if only temporarily, to answer questions that help with clarity and creativity.
